Service Description

Deep tissue massages use firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. This type of massage is used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle "knots" or bands of painful, rigid tissue that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion and inflammation. Because this type of massage focuses on deeper muscles there can be some discomfort during the massage.
